New DMA gateway at BM&F Bovespa

Mega Bolsa, the equity trading platform of Brazil’s BM&F Bovespa exchange, will use a new communication interface from April 20 for all its automatic direct market access connections.

The new interface, MegaDirect, is up to 10 times faster than
the existing Multigateway interface and has a greater capacity for data
processing. It plugs directly into Mega Bolsa’s matching engine and uses the
Fix 4.2 protocol.
Brokerage houses will now be able to use trading screens from
companies authorised by BM&F Bovespa, as well as just Mega Bolsa screens.
